Weight Loss - Week 3

I think I am finally feeling physically better this week - went for a 2 mile hike last weekend and my knee held up really well. I had some minor pain and stiffness afterward, but overall it was better than I was expecting. I continued to play it safe this week, and kept the physical activity and workouts to a minimum - mostly walking, nothing too intense and/or high impact. No less, I still had a 2lb loss again this week - so even with minimal exercise, healthy eating and portion control can still equal a loss. We're planning another mild to moderate hike again for this coming weekend, and hopefully if my knee reacts well I can be back to the gym again next week!!!

Thanks for reading and thanks for the congrats ladies :o) At this point it feels like my life has just been a constant weight loss journey - I have struggled with my weight my entire life. However, this is the highest I have ever been and it's very discouraging. In the past I have had much success with the Weight Watchers plan, and so this time around I am once again utilizing their methods for high nutrient foods and portion control combined with a realistic plan for regular physical activity. So far it seems to be working. Most importantly I am looking to make a lifestyle change, something I can maintain for the long haul. Hope to continue to see you ladies around, thanks again for the support!
